Recently, I read about the quilt as you go method of assembling a quilt. The squares are put on batting and quilted, then the bunnies are fused on top and secured with straight line quilting. This enabled me to do pretty dense quilting on the blocks, and even put in curves. I was concerned about putting the quilt together, but it was really simple! The only downside is that the back of the quilt only has quilting every ten inches (where the blocks meet up). I would absolutely use this method again!

My Creative Life

I am not happy unless I am creating something.  Art is an amazing way to let my mind loose and de-stress.  I don't worry about being "good", I concentrate on enjoying the process and the continual experimentation with a variety of media.
